Latest Version
The latest version of KildClient is version 2.9.0, released on 2009/May/24.
KildClient for Windows
There is a version of KildClient for Windows. Here you'll find instructions for installing it.
Firtly, you need to download and install ActivePerl 5.10.0. (If you are upgrading from a previous KildClient version, you'll need to upgrade your Perl as well.) Go to that page, download the software and install it in your machine. The site asks for registration before the download, but as said in that page, registration is optional. ActivePerl is free for download and use.
Having installed that, you are ready to download and install KildClient. There are two versions of the installer below: one includes the GTK+ Runtime, which is a required component of KildClient, and one does not. If you already have the GTK+ Runtime (version 2.10.X), you can download the file without the GTK+ Runtime. If in doubt, download the first file.
If you receive a message about missing DLL's, try restarting your system and then running KildClient again.
The Windows version now comes with spell-checking support. But it does not install any dictionaries. You must go to the aspell page and install the dictionaries you want.
Downloading the source code
The tarball with the source code for KildClient 2.9.0 can be downloaded here:

Previous versions
All previously released versions of KildClient are archived
at SourceForge.
Getting the latest SVN version
You can also download KildClient from Subversion (svn). This way you can get the most recent version, with new features and bug corrections that haven't yet made in the latest version. However, there might be new bugs or instabilities in the SVN version.
To get the latest development version of KildClient, execute this command:
svn co https://kildclient.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/kildclient/trunk kildclient
Afterwards, you can get updates with
svn update
.
Note: Previously, a CVS repository was used, but it has been disabled and development has moved to SVN. If you used the CVS repository, you'll need to checkout a new working copy from the SVN repository.
